Vathën-vèkê Bî (/ˈʤeqo/ /ˈvèkɘ/ [private] [stew; soup; broth]) is a temperate Small Town located in the Lëcêngthëvi Zone of the Union of Engineers.

The name Vathën-vèkê Bî is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Vathën-vèkê Bî was founded by Shêga Dyêg̈m, who was culturaly Iron Elven.

Climate

Vathën-vèkê Bî has a yearly average temperature of 27°C (80°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a hot 31°C (87°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 24°C (75°F). Overview

Vathën-vèkê Bî was founded durring the late 15th century in spring of the year 1451, by Shêga Dyêg̈m. The establishment of Vathën-vèkê Bî suffered from many setbacks, delays, and obsticles, most notably a group of Vathën-vèkê Bî which required millitary assistance exterminate before the community could finish being built.

Vathën-vèkê Bî was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Vathën-vèkê Bî is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Vathën-vèkê Bî is buildings are arranged arround a single narrow paverstone mainstreet with many smaller streets branching off of it which gives the town a over all rectangular shape, albit one warped and twisted by the nature of the curves of the main road. The town sits comfortably behind a palisade wall complete with a timber gatehouse and battlments. The town's timber-based walls have recently undergone extensive repairs and renovations, such that the repairwork is imeadiently apparent and can be spotted due to the diffring ages of materials. One can't help but wonder what brought the need for those repairs to the town.

Right off the bat Vathën-vèkê Bî hits you in the face with its success. Everyone, even the peasants, are dressed in well made clothing. Every tool and implement you can see is finely made, and people will boast to you as obvious strangers of the wonders which can be found in their markets. More interestingly is a total lack of beggars, and plenty of new buildings are going up even as you speak. Somehow this town has come into quite a lot of wealth, and recently from the looks of things. The town is very clearly a joyfull place as well as wealthy. Music can be heard often, as well as laughter. The smell of food and drink permiates the air. You can’t help but smile.

Civic Infrastructure

Vathën-vèkê Bî has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Cultural Notes

Vathën-vèkê Bî's town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for the combined use of arcuated and trabeated construction, employing arches and constructed with post and lintel. The arch served as the style's chief structural element, with flanking columns serving as buttresses or decorations. While the general shape of their structures could be generously described as simplistic, the use of these arches and columns created a most distinct ascetic which is easily distinguishable on sight to armatures and experts alike.

In Vathën-vèkê Bî rain occurs in reverse with water pooling up from the earth then falling into the skies to from clouds, this unsettles every visitor that sees it.

The Nightcaller near Vathën-vèkê Bî are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.

Vathën-vèkê Bî's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves line dance to channel Enchantment energies of tier 3 via recitation of poetic epics.
